

AtonementJake Roberts was a man in between lives and descriptions. He wasnt sure where here was going, why he wanted to go there, or what he was going to do if he ever got there. Some people would call him confused but he didnt consider this to be accurate. Instead he felt more that he was overwhelmed, he had far too many options, too many things on his proverbial plate. Zombies Part 1They were hunched over the table, close, intimate; one could easily tell they were a couple if only from their posture, they were drawn towards one another. He was a tallish, black haired Hispanic kid no older than twenty. She was smaller blonde about the same age. Both had just graduated high school and both were nervous but for different reasons. He was nervous with anticipation. It had been about nine months since he had last seen Trent and for him that was too long. He knew it sounded pansy but he really missed Trent.
